Weaving a magic spell over Sunday

English folk band The Houghton Weavers bring their unique blend of popular folk music, humour and audience participation to the Victoria Theatre Halifax on Sunday, November 20, 2pm.

The group has been entertaining for over forty years, and guarantees an afternoon of entertainment suitable for all the family.

The three piece – comprising of Tony Berry, David Littler and Steve Millington – have performed thousands of concerts, recorded over 30 albums and starred in their own BBC Lancashire TV show and BBC Radio shows.

Over the years, they have built up a loyal following that enjoy their mix of popular folk music with a Lancashire twist.

As well as traditional folk music, the group will also be gearing up for the festive season in their afternoon set at the Victoria Theatre.

Well-loved Christmas songs will be given the folk twist, and will definitely get the audience into the festive spirit.

As the band love to get the audience involved, ticket holders can expect a Christmas sing a long or two!
