Exhibition will raise funds for flood relief

Hundreds of people have come together to raise funds for individuals who have suffered from the Boxing Day floods.

To show its support ARTbound has teamed up with Hebden Bridge Town Hall and Kreative Bomb - design services, to raise funds by selling creative work in a fundraising art exhibition called ‘Pull the Plug’, which runs until Monday, May 30. All proceeds go to the Calder Valley Flood Fund.

Some of the donated works include a discounted, signed print from Martin Parr’s Hebden Bridge series (see photograph) and a limited edition print by BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year, Stella Mays.

On top of this, ARTbound Community is hosting a one day ‘Back to Business’ Art Market on Saturday May 21 to encourage artist participation and to help welcome visitors back to Hebden Bridge.

It is a free eventand runs from 11am to 4pm in The Waterfront Hall of the Town Hall. Details from www.artboundcommunity.com
