William Storrie went close for Silsden and Isaac Baldwin for the visitors.
Town had a narrow escape when Storrie missed from close range just before the break.
Hone’s substitution at half-time led to Town’s downfall with the defence less secure and their performance tailing off.

Two goals in three minutes sealed the Shaymen’s fate and took Silsden through to the last eight.
