Brighouse game abandoned
Brighouse Town’s match at home to Radcliffe Borough yesterday was abandoned at half time.
The referee ruled that the soggy conditions were unsafe for play to continue.
The sides were drawing 1-1 with Ryan Hall rounding the ‘keeper to give Brighouse the lead after 28 minutes and Richard Smith equalising nine minutes later.
Town slipped to 10th in Division One North of the Evo-Stik League with Mossley, Brighouse’s hosts next Saturday, climbing above them into seventh after a 3-0 win at Lancaster City.
