VIDEO: A fantastical day in Todmorden
Hundreds lined the route for a spectacular celebration of all things bikes, culminating in the Fantastical Cycle Parade through the streets of Todmorden on Saturday.
The day started with a Children’s Bikeathon at Centre Vale Park, while the Mother’s Union Mother’s Union served up cakes, tea and coffee in aid of their Wheels Appeal at St Mary’s Church, Todmorden town centre.
The afternoon then saw the cycle parade, which featured more than 100 decoarted bikes and scooters, four giant kinetic sculptures, bands, gaint walkabout puppets and street performers.
