Wadsworth Community Centre, Old Town, plays host to local band Leading Lights this Saturday, September 6 (7.30pm).

Hailing from along the Calder Valley, they mainly perform their own material. Louis Horton and Lewis Hartley compose the originals while playing guitars, Niall Tyson is the talented drummer and Joe Davey’s vocals complete the foursome. With thousands of views on their YouTube Channel, purely from word of mouth, they are certainly something to look out for in the future. Follow them on twitter (@leading_lights1) and view existing material on YouTube (theleadinglights).

Leading Lights will also be releasing two singles on the night - a “double ‘A’ side” of two of their best songs, ‘Every Moonlight’ and ‘Ooh La La’. They will be on sale during the evening.

Leading Lights are supported by the committee at Wadsworth Community Centre. Also on the bill are two other local bands, The Sleepers and The Square Melons. Admission is £2 on the door.
