Both Dan’s departed from Hebden Bridge, ten days ago, in a Land Rover - on a £10 tank of feul. A host of celebrities including actor Dean Sullivan have helped fuel their journey through, England, France, Spain and Gibraltar.

There’s a serious element to their ‘quirky’ ‘every middle aged man’s dream’ adventure - the actors are raising money for counselling charity Samaritans.

Dan Carey, celebrated his 45th birthday on the day of the show. Speaking ahead of the show he said: “It’s going to be great - people at home can watch live. Please dig dip - whatever you can afford, if you’ve enjoyed reading about our adventures please sponsor us for the Samaritans.” Visit themiddleagedroadtrip.com
