Fright fest for Frou Frou fifth

The Frou Frou Club Burlesque and Cabaret show celebrates its fifth anniversary this Saturday at Todmorden Hippodrome with a “Halloween Spooktacular!”

The first ever Frou Frou Club, produced by local performer Lady Wildflower, took place at Hebden Bridge Little Theatre in October 2011 and since then there have been 28 shows in Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Ramsbottom and Grimsby and four annual Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festivals.

This latest features a fantastic internationally acclaimed cast of performers.

It is headlined by international burlesque sensation and performance artist, Tronicat La Miez who will be flying in from Hanover, Germany especially for this show. Also featured is tap dancer Joesphine Shaker. Shaker is a syncopated bundle of clowning, tap dance and general mayhem.

Scarlett Daggers will be turning up the heat with her impressive fire performances.

Award winning comedy act Titsalina Bumsquash will be creating hilarity with her Harry Potter and Ghostbusters routines.

Lady Wildflower, who was voted in the Top 15 Burlesque performers in the UK, will also be performing.

The evening will be hosted by cabaret superstar Amber Topaz.There will be best dressed prizes for the best Halloween costumes and an after-show party with DJ Dapper Dan.
