It’s no coincidence the beautiful painting on our cover shouts of warmer climes.
Its creator, artist Gianni Morganti is originally from Novara, Italy but has lived in the UK since 1975. Gianni is exhibiting more than 120 paintings of various styles from landscapes, animal portraits, impressionist, realistic modern abstract among others. His family moved from Italy when he was just five and he spent his formative years in France. He gained a diploma as a mature student at art college in Huddersfield in 1993 and over the past few years has exhibited across Yorkshire.
The exhibition takes place in the community hall of St John the Divine Church, Rastrick from August 12-18.
