Harley, 12, attends Trinity Academy and is following in the footsteps of his dad John, who is a former motorbike racer.

The youngster entered the British Mini Bike championship in the JSM 90 class which he won in 2018, in his first season. He then moved up to the JSM 140 class in 2019 and finished third.

Ohvale UK then entered the British Mini Bikes calendar this season, and Harley has racked up seven first places, three second places and one third place, as well as winning the first ever Ovhale 110 Cup.

As well as his trophy, he was awarded a new Ohvale 160 bike to ride in the 160 class next year, donated by Rusty Resto’s.

Harley’s mum Carrie said: “He loves anything motorbikes and is amazing on a bike.

“He has a great following and sponsors but could do with more to help with him getting to the British Talent Cup.

“He wants to progress to do British Superbikes, World Superbikes and Moto GP in the future.

“He is a lovely caring boy and has lots of friends at racing and is really popular.

“He has recently taken part in a Vision Track Academy day, with famous riders, to pick six riders for next year and we are awaiting a decision so hopefully he will be picked.

“He has spent a lot of time being mentored by British Superbike rider Bjorn Estment and he has helped and supported him so much, so we would like to thank him, and Harley’s sponsor Cameo Construction, After Accident, Valley Windows, Tyre Tech, Fatboy Cleaning, Xtreme Chainsaw and Evolution Waste Management.”
