Fifth-placed Hebden Royd Red Star, whose only game since Christmas was a 3-2 defeat at Greetland on January 3, host Warley Rangers in the Halifax AFL on Saturday.
Although Rangers are a couple of places below Star in the table they will be tough nuts to crack with only two defeats in eight league outings.
Warley have won their last five games, including a 5-4 success over Midgley in their most recent contest.
Neither of Calder ‘76’s teams have a fixture but Midgley United Reserves will be eager to resume their Division One programme at home to Volunteer Arms.
Midgley’s second string are an excellent fourth in the table, having beaten bottom two Halifax Irish Centre and Greetland Reserves in their two most recent games.
Visitors Volunteer Arms could be tougher nuts to crack. The fifth-placed side have 23 points from 12 games this season and had a run-out last Saturday when they hit back for a 3-3 home draw against AFC Crossleys.
Hebden Royd RS Reserves, who last played four weeks ago, are due to face St Columbas away in Division Two.
Saints, who are much-improved from last season, play at Savile Park which copes better than most other local football venues with bad weather.
