Shaymen to begin defence of FA Trophy at home to Altrincham

FC Halifax Town will begin the defence of the FA Trophy at home to Altrincham.

The third round tie will be played on Saturday, December 9.

The Shaymen edged past Altrincham on penalties in last season’s semi-final.

Halifax won the competition for the second time in their history against Gateshead at Wembley back in May.
