Adam Heslop
Man of the match
Sam Johnson showed why he is Billy’s no 1 choice for keeper this afternoon. He pulled off some excellent saves that helped Town secure a vital three points.
Moan of the match
Unfortunately the referee has to be my moan today, he was very inconsistent which seems to problem with the officials at this level.

Hide AdThe penalty miss by Kidderminster was my moment of the match; coming out for the second half behind, would have been much harder, as it was the Shaymen came out full of confidence ready to bring the three points back to West Yorkshire.
Kit Walton
Man of the match
Plenty of decent performers, but we still needed Sam Johnson to pull off a number of saves for us to win the day. Johnson’s positioning is excellent, which sometimes makes his shot-stopping look easy. He’s been in good form for a while now.
Moan of the match
Some refereeing decisions can be really puzzling, and there were plenty today! The most bewildering was right at the end, when David Lynch clearly won a header well before his opponent clattered into him. The man in black had a perfect view of the incident, so how the free kick went against us is anybody’s guess.
Moment of the match
No-one wants to concede just before half time, so it was a great relief when Kidderminster’s penalty went wide to the left with Johnson diving in the opposite direction. Even when you play well, you still need a bit of luck on occasions, and we got ours with that final kick of the first 45 minutes.

Moan of the match
They had sold out of the famous cottage pies by half time! No moans on the pitch.
Moment of the match
Kiddy player dragging his awful penalty wide, could’ve been very different had that gone in.
Rob Brown
Man of the match
Sam Johnson, easily his best game for Halifax this season. A string of fine saves in the second half earned three points for the Shaymen.

Hide AdThe Shaymen got battered for the first 30 minutes. Very slow out of the blocks, could have been 3-0 down without complaint.
Moment of the match
45th minute, penalty to Kidderminster. It’s like being a kid kicking a ball against a double garage door. How can you possibly miss the target from there. A big let off for the Shaymen.
