FC Halifax Town: Shaymen in mid-table for spending on agents by non-league clubs

Figures released by the FA reveal that FC Halifax Town paid Â£8,129 to agents between February 1, 2017 and January 31, 2018.

The total is around average for the 19 non-league clubs featured in the accounts, with nine clubs shelling out less on agents than Town in that period.

The lowest figure was Aldershot’s £112, with the highest for a non-league club Leyton Orient’s £39,537.

Yorkshire club Guiseley paid out £14,007, while Harrogate forked out £2,475 and York spent £17,168 on agents.

The highest figure for an English club was Liverpool’s £26,793,503, closely followed by Chelsea’s £25,143,786 and Manchester City’s £23,475,309. In total, Premier League clubs spent £211,011,187 on agents in that time.
