Dagenham and Redbridge 0-0 FC Halifax Town: Fans Panel verdict
Adam Heslop
Man of the match
Liam King was everywhere, his leadership and work ethic show he is a true captain.
Moment of the match
Steve ‘Neuer’ Drench’s superb save on the stroke of half time was certainly a game changer. Had we come out 1-0 down it would certainly have been a different story.

Hide AdVery little to moan about, we put pressure on right until the final whistle and were unlucky not to snatch it at the end.
Kit Walton
Man of the match
Josh MacDonald; one of very few who weren’t programmed to kick the ball skywards at every opportunity. It was embarrassing at times.
Moan of the match
Whenever we play a team from a higher division, we always give them far too much respect. Dagenham looked there for the taking many times, but I don’t recall a single shot on target from us.
Moment of the match
The first kick-off. The standard of football on show deteriorated very quickly from then on. It was begging for someone to put their foot on the ball before passing, but it seems on occasions it’s too much to ask. If I’d known it was going to be so bad, I’d have happily missed my first FA Cup match for 45 years!

Moan of the match
Apparently the ref said there was contact but not enough to give a penalty as Josh McDonald went down in the box with just the keeper to beat. How much contact is required ref and where is it written down?
Moment of the match
27 minutes, Liam King, five yards out with the ball at is feet from Denton’s header. Blazed well over the bar, big let off for Dagenham and Redbridge
