Tough trip for holders Triangle

A trip to fellow Premier Division opponents represents a tough test for the Grassy Bottom side, who beat Mytholmroyd at Sowerby Bridge in last year’s final.

Royd feature in probably the most eagerly anticipated tie of the round away to Thornton.

Jer Lane, Halifax League champions for the last three years and cup winners in 2013, will be at home to Cullingworth.

Warley will start their bid for a hat-trick of successes in the Crossley Shield, the second teams’ competition, at Clayton.

The draws, including that for the Twenty/20 competition, were made at last night’s league meeting at Pellon Club.

There is one slight change to plans for future draws in this season’s Parish Cup and Crossley Shield. They will now take place on the Monday immediately following each Sunday round.
