Youth festival returns for fifth year

One of the UK’s biggest youth festivals is back in the Calder Valley for the fifth year in a row.

The annual Fair for Youth will be held at Calder Holmes Park, in Hebden Bridge, on May 31.

A number of workshops and performances will take place during the day, from 12.00pm and 6.00pm.

Performances include the UK beatboxing champion Ball-Zee, Timestep School of Dance and rock school Khufu-Bryzone-Syrum.

There will be activites and workshops in open mic, DJ and music production, beatboxing, team building, dance, drumming, film making, football, tennis coaching, zorbing, graffiti, arts and crafts, tiedye and more.

Entry will be free.

There will be a booking system online in the next few days and it is advised to arrive and sign into the workshop and hour before it is due to start, otherwise the place may be given away.
