Use common sense - consider us as well

As a 70-year-old person my life would be made easier if I could pop daily to a nearby affordable supermarket.

At the moment, I drag my trolley into town, cross at the traffic lights and on to the Co-op.

Because it is some distance, usually raining, and with a steep hill to climb home, I have to pay for taxis.

Honestly, there are days when the fresh food at the Co-op leaves much to be desired. Gone are the corner shops we used to rely on.

In fact there are many shops in town which are useless to locals, so please can we have some commonsense here, and consider the non-driving residents, and trolley and pram pushers.
