The audience at the 2013 Heptonstall Festival was incredibly generous and dug into their pockets to the tune of £1,114.04, which will provide the basic funding for the 2014 festival.

The audience was incredibly appreciative of the festival with an exceptionally warm response in their comments.

Included in more recent responses - treasurer of the parochial church council, Tony Greenwood, said he attended both the afternoon and evening events and both were excellent. And Mark Bottomley of Widdop Road said the festival was the best thing that had happened in Heptonstall and that when the lights came on in the old church ruins for the evening concert there was nowhere in the world you would rather be!
