VIDEO: Swimmers brave the conditions in Todmorden
Brave swimmers in Todmorden plunged into freezing cold waters for the annual new year swim.
The Upper Valley tradition of an open-air new year swim made a wonderful wintry spectacle at Lumbutts, Todmorden.
Despite the chilly conditions, swimmers young and old took to the water for the traditional dip at Lee Dam before retiring for hot soup and rolls at nearby Top Brink Inn.
