Video: Lorry takes wrong turn and gets stuck for 40 minutes
A lorry driver found himself in a spot of bother after taking a wrong turn and getting stuck in a built up residential area of Elland in the middle of the night.
Resident Heather Bates captured this video and picture as the driver of the Mercedes wagon got stuck in Catherine Street at 12.30am this morning (Wednesday).
“It took him 40 minutes to turn round and he got stuck as cars were parked on both sides of the road,” said Heather.
“He was seen knocking on residents doors asking for help and to get people to move their cars. I guess he was using his sat nav.”
