The group have an eager and enthusiastic cast waiting, a Musical Director raring to go, a Choreographer with dancers ‘on their toes’ and a Stage Crew with hammers and paint prushed poised, but are in desperate need of someone to direct the popular annual family pantomime.

Lynn Taylor, the company’s secretary, said: “It would be very sad if we weren’t able to find someone.

“We’ve run the pantomime since 2007 and we seem to have gone from strength to strength over the years.

“It would be an advantage to have someone who has experience of directing pantomimes, but we really need someone who has been involved in pantomimes and has experience and knowledge of them.

“We have already cast the show, and we need to find someone in the next few weeks as we’re getting close to rehearsals and we’ve already cast the show.”

Lynne added that the pantomime has a positive impact on the local community-the group previously invited children who wouldn’t usually get the opportunity to see pantomimes along to the show.
