Tributes paid to former Elland brass band treasurer
Touching tributes have been paid to a long-serving former brass band treasurer, who has died aged 92.
Kenneth Billington, who served as treasurer of Elland Brass Band for more than 32 years, died at home on Wednesday, May 13.
Mr Billington’s daughter, Kathleen Harrison, said: “He leaves a great legacy and he will be missed by all his family and the many people whose lives he touched.”
Mr Billington leaves a son, daughter, five grandchildren and a great grandson.
