Suspected drug driver smashes into car on Brighouse roundabout

A suspected drug driver was arrested after driving the wrong way towards a Brighouse roundabout and smashing into another car.

Officers from the West Yorkshire Police's Road Policing Unit attended this collision in Brighouse on March 15.

The suspected drug driver was travelling on the wrong side of the road towards the roundabout in the early hours of the morning.

Both cars sustained serious damage as the road was closed off for a period.

Emergency services were called to assess the injured parties.

A spokesperson for the road policingunti said one of the drivers was arrested for drug driving.

The occupant of the other car only suffered slight injuries.
