Men trapped in Huddersfield house blaze
Brighouse firefighters helped rescue two men who were trapped in a house fire in Huddersfield.
Along with two crews from Huddersfield, they attended the blaze on Peridot Fold, Fartown, this morning (Monday) at 4.53am.
When the arrived the fire had spread through the ground floor and the men were trapped in a bedroom.
They were given fire survival guidance by fire controllers on the telephone.
Breathing apparatus wearers rescued the occupants and were treated by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service for mild inhalation.
