Car seized during Calderdale speed patrol operation

Officers from the Calderdale Valleys Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out speed checks on Burnley Road, Todmorden on Friday December 4.

These are the results of the speed patrol

3 x drivers speeding

1 x not wearing seatbelt

1 x non compliant registration plate

1 x seizure for no insurance

Checks were also carried out on November 27 where the majority of vehicles were travelling within the limit but seven drivers were stopped and advised and two were issued tickets.

The highest speed recorded was 43mph.
