Traffic disruption at Hipperholme

Two sets of temporay traffic lights are causing delays along the A58 in between Hipperholme and Stump Cross.

Work is being done by BT, Yorkshire Water and Northern Gas Networks along the road.

Yorkshire Water is looking for a water leak and work is scheduled to take place until July 3 along Halifax Road.

BT is making the access safe for the road boxes for the cable joints and is only expected to be there for today (Sunday).

Work is also ongoing with Northern Gas Networks outside Palmer and Palmer in Leeds Road. The company is repairing a gas leak and work is expected to continue until July 4.

But on July 9 until July 15 Yorkshire Water is expected to return to install a meter. There will be temporary lights.
