Tots enjoy Brighouse shopping trip

Pre-school children travelled by bus with nursery staff to Brighouse and walked through the town centre, visiting shops along the way.

The children looked at signs and talked about road safety, before walking to the Tesco superstore.

The children took their own money and a shopping list of two items and learnt about the value of items, how to pay, receipts and receiving change.

Michelle Tankard, Nursery Manager said “This was a very valuable trip as the children experienced a great deal of learning opportunities.”
