The Beauty Bank has been named as the upper Calder Valley’s favourite salon.
Run by Rebecca Haigh and her team of therapists, the Mytholmroyd-based business has gone from strength to strength.
Speaking about winning the crown, Rebecca said: “When we found out we had been shortlisted, we were really excited.
“We kept reminding people to vote for us and I couldn’t believe it when I got the phone call saying we had won.
“I started screaming in the salon, I couldn’t believe it because there were so many salons.”
Rebecca took over the business in 2012, but when floods hit the village, she was forced to go mobile for six months.
But with a recent refurbishment and a team of five dedicated therapists, the Beauty Bank is a haven for pampering.
Dermalogica products, Shellac nails, NovaLash eyelash extensions, HD Brows, HD make up and lava shell massages are all available .
“We’re learning all the time,” Rebecca said.
“There’s always training to go on and we always keep up to it.
“We’re friendly, approachable and professional and our customers feel like our friends.”
A launch night will be held on January 15, from 5-8pm.
Tickets for the night cost £15, but are redeemable against products and treatements on the night.
There will be nibbles and prosecco, as well as a chance to sample Dermalogica’s biosurface facial peel and a lava shell massage treatment.
