Students filled with festive cheer for twelve days of Ravenscliffe
On day one the school collected 98 boxes filled with goodies for the Rotary Club shoebox appeal.
The school received rave reviews on day two for its production of ‘Joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat’.

Hide AdDay three saw the end of a six week smartie challenge where students were given a tube of smarties but had to return the tube filled with coins. The school raised more than £4,000 towards its SpringHall Sixth Form project.
The whole school sat down to a delicious Christmas dinner on day four in the beautifully decorated hall.
The school invited a coordinating staff team from Lloyds Banking Group into an assembly on day five to thank them for £75,000 of staff support for Ravenscliffe@SpringHall. It also thanked Dave Fotheringham, who ran 12 10k or more races for the school in 2016.
Day six was also a day of thanks as the team from B&M stores visited to be thanked for its donation of £20,000 to the SpringHall project.

Hide AdThree staff members showed off their excellent face painting skills on day seven when students were able to choose what they wanted to have painted on their face.
On day eight a grime buster volunteer team from Lloyds Banking Group cleaned the catering classroom cookers.
Music was in the air on day nine when the school’s 40 strong staff choir performed at several venues across Calderdale to raise more than £1,100 for Calderdale Smartmove.
On day ten the Ryburn Valley High School choir visited to sing some festive songs.

Hide AdThe Salvation Army Brass Band visited the school twice in the last few weeks of term, prior to the final Christmas assembly on day 11.
And finally on day 12 the Ravenscliffe community donated £900 (£1,125 including Gift Aid) to Calderdale Smartmove.
