Regulars of The Crossroads Inn in Wainstalls stepped back in time to recreate a historic photo from the 1920s.

Hanging in the bar of the Timothy Taylor-owned pub is a photo showing the locals heading for a day out at Ripon races.

Tenants Peter Conlin and Jayne Barton decided to celebrate the photo’s 90th year by recreating the trip with a modern twist.

Locals were keen to get involved as many families still live in the village and have relatives in the picture.

Everyone met for breakfast before a photo call with a vintage bus from the time.

A day’s racing followed and then it was back to The Crossroads Inn for a buffet supper.
