Pupils at Colden J and I School took part in the International Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, February 10.
Pupils aged 4 to 11 listened to an assembly and took part in interesting activities, including the reception class learning a safety song to help them remember to ‘Think, think, think before they click, click, click and tell someone!’
The older children were involved in quizzes and making posters to flag up the possible dangers on the internet. IT Teacher Mrs Ritchie said: “It was a fun day with many learning opportunities for children to think about their behaviour online both at school and at home.”
This initiative is an international effort to keep young people safe.
