Road shut after car crashes in Halifax

A Halifax road had to be shut earlier today after a car crashed.

The accident happened shortly before 6.26am on Shibden Hall Road and involved one vehicle.

Paramedics and police were called but they said no one was injured.

Officers believe the crash was caused by icy conditions on the road.

The road re-opened at 7.54am.
