It’s expected 2014 will be a ding dong year for the Unitarian Church at Honey Hole, Todmorden!
From the return of its bells - which have been away for restoration - and other initiatives, they are hoping as many people as possible will support events sat the Grade I listed building.
A spokesman said: “It’s all go this year. We have our bells, which are being renewed at the foundry, coming home soon and when they return we would like to invite anyone who has a connection or intrest in the church to come for tea and help us celebrate.”
In the meantime, on Saturday, February 1, the venue hosts an evening to celebrate Sufism to which all are welcome to come and find out more about the movement.
This church is also hoping to be very busy with weddings this year, particularly as same sex couples can be married there after the new laws come into place on March 29.
All this activity will go along side Incredible Edible talks and tours.
More art exhibitions are also planned, with local artist Christopher Furminger hosting a one day exhibition on April 26.
