As part of this year’s Pushing Up Daisies Festival, people will be able to post letters to their departed loved ones. Letters can be sent to Todmorden post office or taken to the post box in Todmorden Library. There will also be a selection of cards and envelopes in the library for people to use to write their messages. Festival chairperson, Mary Clear, said: “Last year, people told us of the benefit of writing down their feelings, sometimes after decades of silence.”
The festival, which is now in its third year, takes place between Sunday May 7 and Saturday May 13 at venues across the Calder Valley.
