The Shadow Education Minister has spoken of the “inspirational” new facilities and “very exciting” future ahead for students and staff at Todmorden High School.

Tristram Hunt MP visited the school last week to have a tour of the new Incredible Edible Aqua Garden and see plans for the proposed new teaching block.

Mr Hunt, who was accompanied on the visit by Josh Fenton-Glynn, Labour’s Parliamentary candidate for the Calder Valley, also held a question and answer session with a group of students.
