The winner of the Hebden Bridge Times/Todmorden News and McCarthy & Stone Photography Competition has been decided.
Three photographs were narrowed down from the 90 entries we received, through public voting and decided by a panel of judges.
Meg Hartley was the outstanding winner with her gorgeous photograph of the Autumn Leaves in Heptonstall.
The judging panel, which included two representatives from McCarthy & Stone, Editor John Kenealy and reporters Lauren Wafer-Kiddle and Felicity MacNamara, picked Meg’s stunning photograph for its mystery and beautiful colours.
In second place, Wendy Jones’ photograph stood out from the crowd as a favourite for the judges who liked her panoramic photograph from above Hebden Bridge.
Our second runner up is Conleith Orrell for his striking sunset photograph from the side of Heptonstall hill looking down on Hebden Bridge.
