Scott continues: “By donning your fell running trainers, you can help HBDOPWC continue to provide the support, kindness & sense of community that has been so important over the last year or so. Do give generously and most importantly - have fun. See you on the trails!”

Mayor of Hebden Royd, Coun Val Stevens said: “This has been a hard year for everyone, and I hope that the generous people of Calder Valley will support this local charity that has done so much to support older people during this last year. I am incredibly pleased that my colleague, Coun Scott Patient has volunteered to take on this challenge. I’d also like to give special thanks to Wasp Sports in Powys for donating Scott’s branded running vest.”
