Calderdale woman reels in cash for charity in memory of husband
and live on Freeview channel 276
Grandmother, Kathryn Hogan, 73, started making masks at the start of lockdown and has roped in the help of her village Go Local, Towngate, which is helping her sell them.
Ms Hogan has very personal reasons for raising the cash for the charity based in Elland.

Hide AdShe said: “In 2014 my husband Shaun died in Overgate from kidney cancer.
"He was looked after so well as were all my family. He couldn’t have been in a better place.
"Before he died he attended the Day Hospice, giving me a precious break. I also attended a support group weekly.
"It’s taken over my life and given me a focus and purpose during these difficult times.

Hide AdNikki Scholey, Community Fundraiser said: “We want to thank Kathryn for making the masks and Matthew at Go Local in Southowram for helping sell them.
"We want to thank everyone who has bought one so far. It’s been a struggle for us up at the Hospice with our main fundraising events cancelled this year so to know people in our community are supporting us really does mean a lot.”
