Pedestrian seriously injured in bus accident
A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a single decker bus near Elland this morning.
The accident happened around 10.25am on Wakefield Road in Salterhebble, with the man reported to have sustained serious injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “At 10.23am this morning police were called to Wakefield Road after a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
“A man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries.”
The man’s identity has not been revealed.
