A man has been taken to hospital with 30 per cent burns after escaping a fire in Luddendenfoot in the early hours of this morning.

Crews from Halifax, Illingworth and Mytholmroyd were called to Kershaw Crescent at midnight to reports that a man was trapped in the bedroom of a property.
