As the dark nights creep in and Christmas draws ever closer a night of stand-up comedy hits the main stage at the towns Hippodrome Theatre, The Lol Tour pulls into Todmorden on Thursday, October 16, at 7.30pm.

Lol features two of the North West’s top comedians in Phil Walker and Steve Royle. Both regularly headline at some of the most prestigious stand-up venues around the country, including The Glee Club, The Comedy Store, The Frog and Bucket and Jongleurs.

Phil is a familiar face on the comedy festival scene performing one hour shows at Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton, Southport and Sheffield and made his debut at the Edinburgh festival where he received four star critical acclaim for his show “Is this it?” He is also proud to have entertained over 4000 troops on two tours of Afghanistan.

In addition to Phil is the wonderful if not slightly disturbed Steve Royle. Expect chaos, puns, variety and juggling! Steve is an actor, writer, comedian and a regular presenter on BBC Radio Lancashire.
