Members of the St John Fellowship are inviting people to join them for a coffee in aid of Eye Hospital at Jerusalem.

The coffee morning is on Saturday, November 15, from 10am to noon and all proceeds go towards the hospital which treats patients whatever their race or creed.

Among its patients are people on the West Bank and surrounding areas.

Myra Bairstow of the Fellowship said: “Twenty five per cent of its patients would have poor or no sight without treatment. Patients and their families would suuffer if it had to close. The care patients receive is second to none as doctors and nurses come from all over the world to treat patients with eye conditions like glaucoma and more serious problems.

“We hope you will join us to enjoy a coffee and maybe some cake from our home made cake stall,” she said.
