Foster carers’ hard work unmasked at ball
The Kirklees Fostering Network, which supports foster carers, hosted a masked ball evening to recognises the work of foster carers.
More than 140 people - including carers and children who had been fostered - took part in the event which was held at Casa in Brighouse.

Hide AdOrganisers hope the evening, will help raise awareness of the need for more carers across the region.
There were also stilt walkers and performances from Rio Madness.
Charity chairwoman Colleen Callaghan, who led a speech during the event, said: “The fun filled evening started with guests arriving to the masked ball being greeted by stilt walkers and a champagne reception, the ladies where dressed very elegantly and the men where very dapper in there suits and a few even had on bow ties, they enjoyed a fantastic five course meal and where entertained by Rio Madness, the evening was fantastic,”
All money raised on the night will go towards the charity to help organise activities and trips.
