Todmorden High School’s Post 16 head student for fundraising and events, Chloe, recently organised a Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan in order to raise lots of money for the fantastic charity.
Chloe campaigned across assemblies throughout the school and even conducted meetings with the staff in order to get as many people to bake, bring and buy cakes on the morning.
Chloe’s charitable efforts were extremely successful, the bake-sale was so busy that students were struggling to fit through the doors.
With the help of some volunteers from sixth form, Chloe managed to raise £368 for the cancer charity from cake-sales alone.
We are extremely proud of Chloe and all the students who supported her in raising money for such a fantastic cause.
We know Chloe is already planning future fundraising efforts and events and we are excited to see what she has in store for us throughout this academic year.
