Easter opening times for council services

Customer First

From Thursday 25 March to Monday 28 March, all Customer First offices are closed all day.

On Tuesday 29 March, all Customer First offices are back to normal opening days/times.

Household waste collections

Please remember your waste and recycling collections will be a day later during Easter week.

On Friday 25 March all crews are working as normal.

Recycling centres

Household Waste Recycling Centres will be open as usual, but will be operating Sunday opening hours on bank holidays.

Libraries

Only Halifax Central Library, Brighouse, Elland, Hebden Bridge, King Cross, Sowerby Bridge and Todmorden Libraries will be open on Saturday 26 March (Easter Saturday).

All Calderdale Libraries will be closed on Monday 28 March, and will return to normal opening hours from Tuesday 29 March.

Markets

All markets are open as normal.

On Monday 28 March (Easter Monday) - all markets are closed.

Sports centres and swimming pools

Brighouse Pool and Fitness Centre and Halifax Pool - 7am to 3pm on March 25, normal opening hours on March 26 and 27, 7am to 3pm on March 28.

North Bridge Leisure Centre - 8am to 8pm on Marc h 25, normal opening hours on March 26 and 27, 9am to 8pm on March 28.
