Todmorden compound break-in caused £1,000 damage

Police are appealing for witnesses after a compound used by workers removing asbestos from Todmorden Community College was broken into and vandalised.

The break-in caused £1,000 of damage and happened at the Burnley Road site on July 9.

PC Ryan Stockton, of Valley West NPT, said: “With the summer holidays now here we would like to remind parents to advise their children of the dangers of entering building sites and compounds where heavy machinery and hazardous chemicals are being used.”
