Thousands of pounds stolen during knife point robbery in Huddersfield
The robbery occurred at the One Stop Shop on Fernside Avenue in Almondbury, Huddersfield around 10.20pm on April 10, when four men entered the shop demanding cash and threatening staff with knives and machetes.
Detective Constable Richard Brooke of Kirklees CID said: “The suspects took around a thousand pounds in cash and a small amount of alcohol before making off in the direction of Aldonley.

Hide Ad“This was a terrifying ordeal for the two staff members working at the time and we are releasing CCTV images because I believe someone locally will recognise the men and I would urge them to get in touch.
“Thankfully no-one was injured during the incident, however; there was clearly a genuine level threat of violence and these people need to be identified and brought before the courts.
“One of the suspects was around 6 foot tall and was slim. The other three were smaller and of similar build. Each wore hooded tops and had their faces covered throughout.
