Thieves are stealing Yorkshire stone from the gardens of homes in Calderdale.

A spokesperson for the neighbourhood policing team said: "The slabs were taken late evening or during the night of March 3 and 4.

"Offences so far reported at addresses on Clifton Common, Victoria Street and Alegar Street.

"Please be vigilant and if you see anything suspicious please report it."
