Teaching assistant cleared of sexual assault charges
Married father-of-two David Singh, 55, had denied claims that he touched the breasts of a teenage girl while he was working at a Calderdale school and this afternoon (Wednesday) he was acquitted on all charges.
The complainant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had alleged that Singh touched her breasts on a number of occasions during classes at the school.

Hide AdSingh, of Platnam Grove, Huddersfield, was questioned by police about the allegations back in November 2013 and described the claims as nonsense.
He told Bradford Crown Court yesterday (tues) that he was “a friendly guy” who had a fantastic rapport with students.
After the jury returned their unanimous not guilty verdicts Recorder Bernard Gateshill said: “Mr Singh you have been acquitted. You are free to go.”
The defendant thanked the judge and the jury before hugging family members in the public gallery.
